I realize Oly is a money making enterprise, but they expect us to pay for 8yo software??? All they are generating is ill will. They Oly E and SPuz were two models I have been seriously looking at, and now have less interest in buying.
Funny how life works! Here on this site there must be at least 50 people who can't find the software for their cameras, which essentially makes them unusable. When they finally give up and buy new cameras, guess who they won't look at? The company that last left the bad impression! Anyone had success in finding the Camedia Software?
I'm looking for it as well. I need Camedia 2. We all have the same problem: lost either CD or license for Camedia I have a CUZ and its memory was full. Problem solved! Anyone wish to Get Olympus Camedia 4. Anyways, I need to get Olympus Master 1.

I also have the Camedia Master disk i could make an iso of and send to people if anyone wants the stock verson of the software. I only tested this with my own Camera. Just pop your card out of the camera then into the card reader and everything downloads into the computer, no additional software required. I second the recommendation of driverguide. Installation is not automatic. You must run setup after unzipping. For Win XP and newer cameras, apply one of the many patches on driverguide. I've given up on Olympus; I'll never buy their product again or any camera that requires 'exclusive' software to transfer files! The only reason I ever favored Olympus was because of their optics. The only downloads you can get are from olympus and they are upgrades. You must have the master first. They figure that a theif won't steal an Olympus Camera if they can't use it, which may be the case for many of the people on this page, who don't have the software.

Bypass the software and get a multiple format card reader. They are inexpensive, plug-n-play, and often come built-into newer computers.
If your computer doesn't have one, they can be had at most computer retailers or on ebay, for probably less than buying new software. Good luck.

Can't you just take out the xd flash memory , put it in a usb reader and copy over to your pc. What am I missing? Not only that, if you plug your camera straight into your pc, it will think that its simply a mass storage device and you can copy the pix over that way without even removing the xd flsah. Now if Cammedia actually provides the ability to control the camera from the pc then that's interesting and I guess I will have to spend some time digging around looking for my Cd that came with my I have still not figured this out.
I have a Olympus D and can not load my pictures onto XP. Same as many people here. I cannot believe the person above who said Master is junk compared to 1. My main camera died, so I am back to using the ancient d until I get a new camera. My phone has twice the pixels.
